About Us

The person behind Father’s Family Law Service is Michael Back. Michael is an experienced family and domestic violence lawyer who has worked as a Senior Family Lawyer in the public and private sector.

Michael has also worked as the Principal Lawyer of a federally funded legal organisation, with a focus on family law, where he was responsible for a team of 12 lawyers.

Michael is professional in his dealing with clients and is an organised and ethical lawyer. He seeks to provide clients with practical legal advice and does his utmost to positively progress matters.

Michael is equally at home working with clients on parenting or property/financial matters.

Michael understands that men can feel at a disadvantage in the family law process, particularly initially, and that the first few months of separation can come with financial hardship. One of Michael’s aims with the Father’s Family Law Service is to provide professional legal representation at an affordable price to Fathers.
