Domestic violence matters are serious. In Western Australia domestic violence orders made against fathers are usually Family Violence Restraining Orders (FVRO).

We can assist you if domestic violence allegations are made against you. We have experience in advising on domestic violence matters, negotiating FVRO outcomes on an interim and final basis, and providing representation at the Magistrates Court. We also understand that domestic violence is sometimes perpetrated against men, and we can advise you of your options if this is the case.

FVRO’s may be made when there are allegations of domestic violence made by a party to a marriage or de facto relationship against the other party. The initial interim FVRO can be made ex-parte i.e., from one side without notice to the other.
